Pengertian dan Contoh Compound Adjective

by on

Contoh:

  1. The precondition of talking about gender is that you must be open-minded.
  2. Her doe-eyed eyes haunt me in my dreams.
  3. I work as part-time translator.
  4. As a twenty-year-old girl, there are a lot of things going on that you haven’t understood yet.
  5. My 20-page papers is due on Tuesday.
  6. I wish my relationship now is the long-lasting one.
  7. You’re lucky, Diane. He is a good-looking guy.

Misalnya :

(i) I saw a man eating shark

(ii) I saw a man-eating shark.

Kalimat (i) bermakna saya melihat seseorang memakan ikan hiu. Sementara itu, kalimat (ii) bermakna saya melihat hiu pemakan manusia.
